Decision of the Executive Director of EUIPO – extension of time limits

The earthquakes and subsequent aftershocks which occurred in Italy on August 24 severely disrupted the normal course of business in many parts of the country, and affected communications.
In order to ensure that all affected users are able to continue to comply with pending time limits without the risk of losing rights, the Executive Director of EUIPO has signed a Decision extending all time limits expiring between 24 August 2016 and 2 September 2016 inclusive to 9 September 2016, for all affected parties residing in or having a registered office in Italy.
